History of Master Train Clinical Simulation Center

Master Train opened its doors in May 1998 for the purpose for offering continuing education hours to the San Antonio and surrounding areas EMS community.  After several months of approaching EMS and Fire Department staff we discovered that the internet was the preferred method of choice for most EMTs to receive their needed hours.

At this point we shifted gears and began to market to the San Antonio Healthcare community of physicians and nurses.  We also added advanced training to include ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, IV Therapy and 6 days of CPR for HealthCare Providers.  With these changes, and the inclusion of continuing education hours for physicians and nurses, we provide the training for 5000 medical professionals each year.

The compliment most heard as our students leave the classroom is “This is the best class I’ve ever taken!”  This goes across the board for all the courses offered here at Master Train.
